Outfit of the Day: Wearing a Cute Streetwear Fit With No Activity to Do

Coming to terms with wearing a cute Streetwear Outfit just for the sake of it, and accepting I do not always have to do a fun activity just to wear it. In this fall season, it is okay to exist passively while still looking cute.

Outfit of the Day: Wearing a Cute Streetwear Fit With No Activity to Do

Now, the title might be a bit misleading as I did something the day I wore this outfit; I went to a café in Old Town Pasadena to do computer work. What I meant to get across was that I didn’t do an engaging and fun activity. I did not go to any outdoor market, I did not visit any cute thrift stores, nor did I do any Halloween activity to celebrate the spooky season.

In my fashion belief system, one does not always need a reason to wear something cute. It is reason enough to wear an item or outfit only for the sake of wearing it, or to feel cute, regardless of whether I decide to go out and show off my fashionable tastes to the public. I could even argue with myself that I did accomplish that anyway since I went to Copa Vida for a few hours.

In the end, though, I think what my heart was truly striving for was a cute fall activity to experience while I carried high self-esteem with my chosen items for the day. In its essence, it is a minor case of FOMO, but in its full depiction, it is just me overthinking a what-if.

In considering my afterthoughts, I am pleased with the overall day and how I spent it. Even if I have thoughts of discontent, I can accept there will always be another time, and if there isn’t, there isn’t really anything for me to lose. Existing in fabric, which I choose to wear on my body, is a pleasure I can enjoy at any moment. I need to remind myself of that.

I wore a white turtleneck which came down to my waist, and I paired it with baggy, dark beige pants, and white sneakers for the Streetwear Aesthetic. I like how the shirt was a bit sheer, so the outline of my white bralette was emphasized delicately. To go with the color scheme, I accessorized with a white belt. The arm brace I wore had a functional use for the minor tendonitis I suffered from, but it luckily matched the palette.
